New Multi Use Games Area

Catterall Parish Council will be replacing the worn out Multi Use Games Area on Catterall QEII Playing Field with work starting on Monday 27 June. The work is being funded by an agreement between Wyre Council and the developers responsible for some of the new housing beyond Joe Lane which they have passed on to the parish council to improve facilities at the playing field.

The first job will be to take down the current Multi Use Games Area and the new one can then be installed. The work will take 2-3 weeks with some of the work (like putting down the new surface) being dependent on the weather.

Although this will mean that the Multi Use Games Area can’t be used for a short period of time hopefully the new one is worth the wait.
