Defibrillator at Catterall Village Hall

Defibrillator at Catterall Village Hall

13th of July, 2020

Myerscough Football Club has raised funds to provide a defibrillator at Catterall Village Hall.

The club holds children's football matches on Sundays on the Queen Elizabeth II playing field and felt a defibrillator would be advantageous.

Catterall Parish Council and Catterall Village Hall both donated funds to the installation and the Village Hall's electricians completed the job last week.

The defibrillator is held on the North West Ambulance's data base for use during an emergency.

If you are witness to a possible heart attack you MUST ring for an ambulance FIRST.

They will tell you where the nearest defibrillator is and the code to access the case.
